Circa 1900 - 1910. Quart size. The raised logo on the glass jar is called the 3-L or Triple L logo because the decorative loop at the end of the logo looks like a third L in the Ball name. Small air bubbles, known as seeds, are seen throughout the aqua glass. This aqua color is often called "Ball blue", a blue green shade specific to jars made by the Ball Corporation. The lid is made of zinc and is embossed with the Ball logo. The inside of the lid is lined with milk glass to prevent food from coming into direct contact with the metal lid.
